Mental Skills
The mental aspects of racing are an essential part of a rider’s overall preparation. Many times we have seen riders who were well prepared both technically and physically fall apart on race day due to excessive nervousness or a lack of focus. Our mental skills program involves helping riders race better by remaining focused, determined, confident and in control under pressure.
Specifically each rider will learn how to develop:
- Focus (pre-start and start routines, flow states, distraction control)
- Injury prevention and rehabilitation strategies
