Diet and Nutrition are the most time consuming part of our overall fitness program. Through the use of online daily diaries we require each rider to record what they eat so that their hard work in the gym and training time on the track is maximized. In addition we provide lectures and informative handouts to riders and parents to promote good dietary choices.
At regular intervals our full time annual riders are tested in order to evaluate their current nutritional status. Using the latest ultrasound imaging technology we measure each rider’s body composition. Then, together with height, weight and other factors (for instance the size of the bike they’re riding) we set a target weight and an appropriate diet for each rider.
Lastly, we provide individually prepared post-workout snacks for each rider based on their fitness and diet goals and we supervise their vitamin and supplement program.
Our goal is to ensure that each rider's nutritional intake is optimally suited for their training and racing schedule.
