The 2018 Monster Energy Supercross series concluded with the crowning of Jason Anderson as 450 champion, Aaron Plessinger as 250 West Coast champion and Zach Osborne as 250 East Coast Champion. Somewhat surprisingly none of these outcomes were surprising, there being none of the crazy finishes we saw last year.

For Jordon Smith it was a great year overall as he improved on last year's 4th place with a solid 2nd. A slow start to the year will be the one thing he looks back on as he mentioned yesterday, "for me the thing that really put me at a deficit for the points this season was starting with a pair of 6th place finishes at the first 2 races".

Anthony Rodriguez finished the season 9th overall. Dakota Alix could not repeat his career performance from the previous week and failed to earn points. He would up 15th overall in the West.

Now it's on to the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship beginning at Hangtown May 19.
