The last qualifying races concluded Friday and LCQ’s were under way at the time of writing setting up Saturday for an exciting last day of racing. Both motos count in the motocross portion and several MTF riders have a good shot at a title by virtue of their first moto finishes.

The cold and damp turned to cold and rain
Wednesday for the conclusion of the
supercross portion of the Winter Nationals and the wet track created some exciting racing. Altogether MTF riders took 8 championships and added 8 more 2nd place finishes. Leading the way was Joey Savatgy who landed three national titles (both youth classes and the 250B mod), Cooper Webb grabbed two (85 12-13 stock and mod), Dakota Alix broke through for his first national title in the Supermini 14-16 class, Brad Allison took a title in the open C stock class (along with two other podiums in the 250 C classes) and Kyle Peters won
a title in the 250 B stock (along with two 2nd places).
Others taking a 2nd place included Gavin Faith who
rode hard for one 2nd and three 3rds in the A class,
Bobby Cochran in the open B mod, Serratia Gonzales in
the women's class and Jordon Smith who took a 2nd in the 85 12-13 stock class.
Other top 10s: Dakota Alix 4th (85 14-15 mod), 7th (85 14-15 stock), 9th (supermini 1), Paul Coates 7th (supermini 1), 9th (supermini 2), Joey Savatgy 6th (250B stock), Kyle Peters (schoolboy 14-16), Bobby Cochran 9th (open B stock), Charlie Miller 9th (open B mod), Brad Allison 6th (open C mod), Matt
Beverly two 7th's (Open C stock and 250 C mod) and
Stephanie Cabanza won 5th in the girls class.
Motocross practice begins Thursday and racing concludes Saturday.
