While February sees the beginning of Loretta qualifiers the month of March means it’s time for the Amateur Spring Nationals. Four race events crowd the first three weeks and provide a chance for young riders to compete against the best.

Things kick off with the RCSX amateur supercross race at Daytona March 8-9. Held on the same track as the AMA Monster Energy race on the Saturday this event offers riders the chance to showcase their supercross skills.

The 44th Grand National Championship is next on March 11-14 at Oak Hill in Decatur, Texas. At the same time is the ever growing and popular Motoplayground Spring-A-Ding-Ding race at Underground MX in Kemp, Texas on March 12-14.

The big one though is the next week, the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship in Wortham, Texas, March 16-21. Winners get a trip to the Stewart compound in Florida.

MTF riders who have fared well at these races include Gage Linville, Noah Smerdon, Crockett Myers, Gerhard Matamoros, Myles Gilmore, Logan Boye, Thomas Wood (#43 above), Agustin Barreneche and Alec King. All will be racing with confidence and determination to bring home championships.

Good luck everyone!
